Another Be the Change Group Sprouts!

We are thrilled to announce BE THE CHANGE in the Tampa Bay area has begun with enormous enthusiasm and success!  Our first meeting took place on a balmy Florida evening in March at New Beginning.  There were about 85 energized people in attendance.  Each brought with them a burning desire to take down walls of separation and create a community based on loving cooperation with a vision of collective transformation for our world. 
 
BE THE CHANGE Tampa Bay was honored to have Dale Colton, Deepak Chopra’s assistant, facilitate our first meeting.  Dale brought to light the divine threads running through all ancient religions. She opened a lively discussion within the group and we agreed recognition of these threads has great potential.  It carries the seed of bringing humanity into a greater awareness of their unity verse separation.  Also as a group, we recognized the importance of our personal transformation and aspiration towards peace no matter the situation.  The evening provided a venue to explore how we as a group could effectively bring change to our individual communities and world.
 
At our next meeting in April we broke into small groups of five and discussed the following questions. 1.  How does the spiritual path you follow view the relationship of mankind to one another and our Divine Source?  2.  What do you believe has brought about such misunderstanding between religious paths and how can we as a group bridges these gaps through BE THE CHANGE and truly bring into reality a Beloved Community of peace and unity?  3.  In what ways can we serve each other and develop deeper relationships?  4.  What activities would you like to see the groups get evolved in?
 
Within each group one person was appointed to record answers and then reported back to the whole group later in the evening.  The small groups provided an opportunity to develop deeper relationships and foster understanding. They also gave each person a chance to share their creative ideas for the group.  The evening was a dynamic success and it brought forth a collective enthusiasm to fulfill our vision!  Our heart is to be One Humanity Working For Peace and we are having bracelets made with these words engraved on them!
