For 30 years held senior advisory and managerial positions, at international levels in the United Nations and the World Bank. His work focused on leading multidisciplinary teams in the analysis of environment, natural resource management and development issues, and the formulation and implementation of corresponding policies programs, and the establishment of private-public sector partnerships. He co-founded, helped to develop and coordinated until March 2008, the Alliance for a New Humanity.
