An attorney and human rights activist, Kerry Kennedy has led more than forty human rights delegations to more than thirty countries. In 1987, she established the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights, which investigates and publishes reports on human rights conditions around the world. She has worked on diverse human rights issues such as child labor, disappearances, indigenous land rights, the environment, and women's rights. In 2000 she authored Speak Truth to Power, a volume that includes interviews with human rights defenders from more than 35 countries.
